The newly founded organization Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie Sweden AB will build a team of the very best pastry chefs in Sweden during 2025. The vision is to take part in the international pastry competition Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie.

– Taking part in the competition is important for the long-term development of the Swedish pastry industry. The initiative will also strengthen and showcase the high level of craftsmanship that Swedish pastry chefs have today.

That is according to Master Pastry Chef Gustaf Mabrouk, President of Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie Sweden AB, who adds:

– We will make the Swedish Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie team known both nationally and internationally.

The ambition is for the team to remain active through various initiatives, even during years when no competitions are held or if the team does not qualify for the final. The intention is to maintain the team's high level of expertise and experience.

The Einar Belvén Foundation has decided to support Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie Sweden AB with the aim of contributing to a higher level of education and knowledge within the Swedish pastry industry. This support creates the conditions for a Swedish team to compete for many years to come.

More information is available on our website, where you can also apply to join the Swedish Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie team. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2025.
